This Sock Therapy session is for all our wonderful sock knitters who need a bit of help with their socks.  Please stop by during this three hour time period for any assistance you need with the sock knitting process.  

We have added two more seperate Thursday night Knitting Classes.  This class is for people who have never knit before AND for all knitters who want to learn a new skill.  The new skill can be technique based such as cables and colorwork or how to use double pointed needles to make mittens or a hat.  You get to choose what you want to learn.  Register in advance for this class.  Please have your supplies picked out before the start of class.

Inspired by Elizabeth Zimmermann's PI shawl, the Cosmic Teleidoscope Vest was created.  This vest starts with 9 sts and ends with over 570sts!  The first class you will learn how to do Emily Orcher's cast on method and learn how the vest is actually created.  The second class we will make the armholes and learn how to do a crochet cast off.   This is a very versatile piece that looks good on every shape and size.

Matterials needed:  2 skeins each of 5 different colors of Koigu and # 4 dpn, 16", 24" and 40" circular #4 needles.

During this workshop you will learn how to knit a Moebius Infinity Scarf.  A Moebius has a 180 degree twist with one edge, no seam and it is knitted from the middle out.  You will be taught how to do a Moebius cast on, join into the round, knit your first figure 8 round and you will also learn how to do an applied I-cord cast off.  This is the same cast on  technique that Cat Bordhi teaches in her amazing books.  The scarf will not be finished during the workshop but you will have the skills to finish at home.

Supplies:  #9 47"  circular needle and two skeins Manos Silk Blend or Malabrigo Sily Merino.

Take two hours each week to knit, relax, make new friends and receive needed help on projects.

This Walk-In Class is designed for all of you who need a little extra help with either a work-in-progress, finish a project, pick out a new item to knit or to learn how to knit. All during the lunch hour. It is a great way to spend an hour!
